I have a variety of support services that can be tailor made to suit your individual requirements.

Working in mixed age and key stage 1 classrooms can feel like spinning plates and make you feel like you want to split yourself in two (at least!) You know and see how play works so well in the early years but you have the pressures of a specific and progressive curriculum to teach to key stage 1. You may have senior leaders who want to see a more formal classroom and don't understand what children are learning when in provision areas, role play for example. This is where I can help. I can help empower you to have these conversations with senior leaders and support you to plan very specific learning for each subject area using the provision areas in your classroom. If you don't yet have any provision areas, do not panic! I can help to design your classroom to include the key areas using resources you will most likely already have in school.

When you choose the Creative Classroom Consultancy "full works" package here's what you can expect:

Online or face to face (within North Yorkshire) initial 2 hour meeting to discuss requirements and find out where you are in your journey towards play based learning.
Discussions and suggestions around classroom design to incorporate provision areas tailored to your individual space.
Half day support to create medium term plans to fit with your school's intended curriculum.
Practical advice and proformas to support implementation.
Half termly follow up meetings / on going support for 1 year to ensure we work through any bumps in the road together!

"Just a Chat"

When you choose the Creative Classroom Consultancy "just a chat" package here's what you can expect:

1 hour online chat to talk through how you could implement or further develop learning through play in your key stage 1 classroom.
Practical suggestions and planning support for 1 area of provision.
